Kristen

Kristen G Klassen is an engineering marvel. With long giraffe like qualities, she is ideal for hard to reach situations. At the end of her useful slender arms are the steady hands that hold a camera and run her business, Kristen G Photography.

Taylor Swift is her favorite animal, and country music is the lifeblood in her veins, though she has been known to bust a move when her hip hop jam comes on. All it takes to get on her good side is a bit of candy or virtually any baked goods. Let's be honest, almost any food item handed over to her at the front desk for your appointment will result in helpful, friendly service.

Be sure to ask about her wee wiener dog Rupert, her impeccable taste in country music, or her days as number one fiddler for the heat strokes.

Jared

Jared grew up just outside of Morden in an area called Tinkercreek. Living in the Pembina Valley fostered his love for the outdoors and over the years he has taken full advantage of the well-groomed cross country ski paths behind his parents house and as a kid, found an abundance of adventure hidden in the rolling hills.

Upon graduating from University of Manitoba with his bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy, Jared travelled to Europe with friends before starting his seven year stint at Eastman Therapy Clinic in Steinbach. Being from a small town, he appreciated the small town business mentality and the close-knit community feeling he experienced. He knew that if and when he returned to Morden, he wanted to create that same feeling through his own business.

While attending University, Jared met his beautiful wife Sher who was enrolled in the education program at the University of Winnipeg. They married in 2008 and resided in Winnipeg until recently moving to Morden. The move to Morden was a huge step, as it involved purchasing and renovating a beautiful old house built in 1895. Although they moved only in January 2014, they had already spent 2 years in renovations. Not knowing the extent of renovations required, Jared realized how much he enjoyed working on these projects and the house slowly inching towards completion.

In the midst of house renovations, Jared's colleague (now business partner) Tim, approached him about purchasing a building in Morden and opening a clinic. He jumped at the opportunity to work just down the street from his new home – adding to his already long list of building improvements.

When he's not doing renos, he exchanges his hammer for drum sticks, a hockey stick or golf clubs. Playing in multiple bands spanning from 90s hits, praise and worship, to playing original rock songs, Jared stays busy in the community by spreading his love of music with his big laugh, personality, and smile. He hits the ice and plays floor hockey once a week and in summer he'll be out on the links as much as his wife will allow.

Tim

Growing up in Thompson, Tim knew that pursuing his education would eventually bring him south. In 2005 he graduated from the University of Manitoba with a bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sport Sciences specializing in Athletic Therapy. For the next 3 years he spent time working with various elite athletic programs in numerous roles; as an athletic therapist with Team Canada Men's Volleyball, and as head strength & conditioning coach for the Bison men's and women's hockey programs.

For the next seven years, Tim worked private practice at Eastman Therapy Centre in Steinbach, and eventually opened his own Strength & Conditioning company – Threshold Conditioning. In Steinbach he met and worked alongside Morden Physiotherapy's co-owner, Jared Hildebrand. It was here that they developed their working relationship, injury rehab approach, and friendship. "I wouldn't be where I am today without that clinic, all the great staff there, and of course Jared. I wouldn't trade it for the world."

Eventually it was time for a new challenge, so Tim (and Jared) entertained the idea of purchasing a building and opening a clinic in Morden. In February 2014, Tim's biggest challenge and dream to date came alive as Morden Physiotherapy opened it's doors for business.

In his spare time, Tim doesn't like to sit still and is still seeking the ultimate adrenaline rush. If he isn't playing golf or guitar; tennis or tambourine; or back-checking hard (ok, not THAT hard) at green-leafs hockey, you may find him sky-diving or barrelling around the lake trail on his bike. "Being active is a way of life, and I want to illustrate that to every patient I see." He has also been given the opportunity to share his education and fitness/injury rehab philosophy as the twice monthly fitness and healthy lifestyle contributor for the Winnipeg Free Press. Check out his column every second Saturday in the 49.8 – Intersections, section.

Tim lives his life by three quotes that were provided to him by his father for a grade three project; they are framed in his office. 1- Belief in a greater God will make everything fall into place. 2- Treat everybody you meet with respect; your wants and needs are no more important than anyone else's. 3- Work hard at all you do, but make time for your family and friends no matter how busy you may become.
